Actuator solutions is an international joint venture between SAES Getters (Italy) and Alfmeier Präzision AG (Germany), incorporated for the development, production and marketing of actuators based on innovative SMA technology.

The mission:

Increase the worldwide market and technology leadership in shape memory alloys (SMA) actuators by serving the needs of the industrial market , leveraging the integrated internal value chain.

Our advantage:

Both companies are pioneers in their respective technologies. SAES Getters Group is the world leader in the production of shape memory alloy (SMA), and Alfmeier Group is the worldwide leading company for the production of SMA actuators in high volumes for more than 15 years now. Furthermore, within the Alfmeier Group there are subsidiaries for high-precision plastic molds and molding combined with fluidic technologies, mechatronic and electronic capabilities.

All in all, Actuator Solutions carries unique genes from two, largely experienced parent companies which have been successfully cooperating for a long time, seizing most of the advantages of SMA technology from raw materials such as Ni and Ti to raw plastic pellets. The added value stream within our JV is hardly to be beaten.
